Creating the Iran Peace Shield sticky icon

This is an urgent appeal to people of goodwill across the world to help in creating a peace shield over the people of Iran.

The United States is already waging war against Iran by supporting groups seeking to destablize the government in Tehran and by threatening unilateral economic sanctions over and above those imposed by the United Nations.

The Bush administration is pursuing a policy of regime change and has repeatedly announced its desire to "deal with" Iran before it leaves office in January 2009. Members of the administration have promised that "nothing is off the table" where Iran is concerned, leaving open the possibility of using tactical nuclear weapons in an unprovoked assualt.
